Unnatural Axe

Unnatural Axe

(band site)
Once upon a time four teenagers from Boston spent their time making a record which later on it will be recognized as one of the most dazzling American punk rock hit. It was 1978 and they were the Unnatural Axe. After that, they became some kind of cult band of the local scene which people still remember for their astounding gigs at the Rat Club with the most important bands of the period (from the DMZ to the Police!). When they broke up in the early 80's, the band came back playing for the joy of those who love the most authentic and rough punk rock.
They Will save Hitler's Brain again!

The Fast Cars

The Kings of Power Pop are back! From Manchester, one of the most valuable bands of the early English punk. Born in 1977, they played with practically all of the English myths of the time (XTC, Buzzcocks, Fall, Rezillos, Joy Division etc...) and they were recently re-discovered and appreciated by a new generation of fans of the kind. A brilliant album for the English cult label Detour records and a number of fantastic gigs in Japan in 2004 preceded their re-appearance on the stage.
If you love the Undertones and the 1979's mod bands, this show is going to be one of those events you'll remember forever.

The Spits

The Spits

(band site)
The definition they chose for themselves is " Workingclass Punk" and their style is a mix of Ramones, Devo all shacked up into a Killed by Death cocktail. An adrenaline and orgiastic river of crazy sounds, perverted guitars and lobotomised keyboards is what their public must be ready to listen to. At their third album for the Dirtnap records, the American Spits finally land in Italy and will be the headliner of the opening night of The Road to Ruins Festival.
Pogo Music for Party People! Absolutely great!

Neon Maniacs

Their show will be one of the climax of the new edition of the Road to Ruins! You must be there.
